Mayweather-Marquez put for Sept 19

Fascinating show between Floyd Mayweather and Juan Manuel Marquez rescheduled on sept 19 in Las vegas,HBO Sports looking for 24/7 reality grant, will be performed for the first time on Saturday, August 29 (10:15p.m).The enormous star, coming back after a year-and-a-half lack to face Juan Manuel Marquez, one of boxings most unbelievable performers, as they have been getting ready for their September show at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

The interesting fighter, who has been scheduled to fight with Juan Manuel Marquez on next month at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, last Friday he said he had been checked out by doctors,Mayweather, whos going to come out from brief retirement ,injured due to training before two weeks. The two fighters have decided to reschedule thier fight on sept 19,although productive opponents like Miguel Cotto and Manny Pacquiao became existing for both of them.

Mayweather-Marquez

Now I am obviously sure about brawl, as I have looked to get back in to the ring, Mayweather said.Believe me, Sept 19 is gonna be a great for boxing, for my Boxing weights and to my fans -of which there are Mexicans too -- can indeed clutch to their hats and sombreros when I get back into the ring.Ticket sales seemingly had been slow for the pay-per-view fight, Because of the new date, they may get a considerable boost up. Independence Day for Mexicans is on Sept. 16, and the assault will be on Saturday -- a weekend that had long belonged to Oscar De La Hoya, Marquez who handles Golden Boy Promotions.

De La Hoya has been announced his retirement from boxing previously this year.

Arthur Abraham retains middleweight belt with TKO

Arthur Abraham has been defended his middleweight belt with a technical knockout of fellow German Mahir Oral in the 10th round on Saturday.Abraham has improved his record to 30-0 with his 10th consecutive defense of the IBF belt, though none has been against top-level challengers since he won the title in December 2005. Kelly Pavlik, however, is the lineal champion at 160 pounds by virtue of his knockout of Jermain Taylor in 2007.American-born Abraham knocked down Oral in the fourth, sixth and 10th rounds, the last forcing the referee to call the fight. The defeat was Oral's first in 19 bouts since his only previous loss, to Malik Dziarra in 2004.

Rounds that ever happened

Arthur Abraham On 21st heavyweight title fight climbed the question of whether it must be considered a nine rounds win for Wladimir Klitschko or a stoppage in the 10th.Michael Buffer said that,The bell rang for the beginning of round number 10, which to some would indicate that this was a 10th-round stoppage although Ruslan Chagaev did not leave his corner. For me, its clear. If a fighter has not answered the bell, the fight ends in the last completed round. This sort of thing is particularly important to players who wager on a fight ending in a specific round, or group of rounds.player who wagered on Klitschko winning in the 10th round, or in rounds 10 to 12 in a round-group wager, could have his fingers crossed that his sportsbook agreed with a 10th-round ending. For a player who took a shot on Klitschko winning in round nine, or had him in the 7-9 round-group wager, the hope would be that his book would consider Saturday's fight a ninth-round stoppage.Statisticians have been inconsistent in how corner retirements should be recorded.

Maidana shocks Ortiz with a Stunning Sixth Round TKOY Award in the Best Fighter Category

The New junior welterweight contender Victor Ortiz (24-2-1 with 19 KOs)has been with party. Acquired as star of the future, with a large crowd at the Staples Center for which he was the main event, everything was aligned for Ortiz to take an interim title belt and begin his championship campaign at 140 pounds with flair. The problem Saturday night was that someone forgot to tell Marcos Maidana (26-1 with 25 KOs). These two warriors gave as good as they got until one man, Ortiz have had enough. It was a shocking turn of events as the momentum swung back and forth all night until finally it could swing no more for the young fighter out of Oxnard, CA. While promotions didnt get what they had hoped for, boxing got itself another rising star with power in both Boxing hands with Boxing gloves and a will of iron. What a fight.

It was fitting that Ortiz entered the ring to the tune of Thriller as that was exactly what the crowd got.
