Brook Against Jennings

Brook claimed the title last June by beating Barrie Jones and has defended title for three times. Former champion of British Jennings, 31, stopped in five rounds when he challenged Miguel Cotto for the WBO welterweight title in February. The unbeaten Sheffield boxer, who has 13 KOs from his 20 fights, said he could have moved on to European level but wants to beat Jennings to become no 1.
Having fought Miguel Cotto, he is known in the States, and if I do a job on him I can make a big statement about my ability at world level. I've won each of last three opponents in the first three rounds, and I can do something similar in opposition to Jennings. He is a slow beginner and I know I can get him out there quickly. Jennings lost two of his 37 fights as a expert, with his only other defeat apart from the Cotto turn around coming when he lost his British title to Mutley in 2006.
Brook is a good boxer and he's done well to win a Lonsdale belt outright. People asked me if I was going to retire after fight against cotto, but the thought never crossed my mind.
I want fights for title and I'm pleased that I've got Brook, because this is an break for me to get back into the big time. "Everyone is talk him as the future of British boxing, but I'll take him to school."
