The most awaited championship of IBF/IBO light heavyweight champion Chad Dawson and the triplet champion Antonio Tarver face off, a rematch which was scheduled for 12 rounds of their world title fight at the Hard rock Hotel in LA. The last time that these two great men met was on October 11th 08, at this point of time (i.e.) 11th October 08 Chad Dawson was given a rating of 5-2 as against today's rating of 5-1. Dawson is one of the finest body punchers and he works on his punches very skillfully.

On the other hand, Antonio is referred as the "King of rematches". At the age of forty Tarver will have his hands full but it is important to ascertain the fact that if his over confidence works well then he will surely win the fifth rematch against Dawson. In the first round, both of started with jabs in the middle of the ring, in the second round both of them fought very cautiously. In the second round many punches were blown however majority of them were blocked, Dawson won the final round.

The third round was however taken over by Tarver. In the fourth round Dawson came out aggressively tackled by his strength very aggressively but most were very nicely blocked by Tarver. But a sudden blow by Dawson stunned Tarver. The fifth round was taken by Dawson again and finally with unanimous decision Dawson won against the King of rematches.
